When we're in love, that heady, jazzy feeling makes us want to dance - check out this live performance!
"Across the desert" has a middle eastern flavour. It starts off gradually then builds in intensity and excitement, like a caravan journey through the desert and the subsequent arrival at an oasis. The camels are racing at this stage!
Take your quartet for a ride on the "Bluegrass Express"...
A very sweet piece for a sweet little lady.
"Bach to the Future" is a set of pieces written for the Classical Guitar Society of Victoria's composition competition. The theme was "A Celebration of J.S.Bach for the Classical Guitar". This work received a commendation. The set of five pieces starts off with a humourous reference to BWV 1006a, and ends with "Fancy Fant'sy", (which is available separately). Have a listen and...enjoy!
'Bandit and Ol' Plod' are guitar solos inspired by two mountain ponies. Listen and you'll hear their different characters. Bandit is a bit more lively, and Ol' Plod is surefooted and steady. Enjoy!
Perfect for that lazy Sunday afternoon...
"It sounds like it bobs along". So said my daughter when she heard this simple little guitar trio. Have a listen and see what you think...
Calm and get it is perfect for relaxing. Press that MP3 play button, have a listen, and 'unwind'. Enjoy!
Feeling stressed? Try the Chill Factor..... a pair of solos: "Peace" and "Gently Beckoning". These two slow, gentle, beautiful relaxing solos should calm you down. Make sure that you don't nod off when playing them....you might drop your guitar! ("Peace" is also available as a single solo).
The journey starts with a pentatonic flurry, then we move gently, like a slow boat on the Yangtze. There's slight turbulence starting at bar 22, after which we resume smooth sailing. Enjoy listening to this exotic solo
In any Hispanic country, a cup of hot chocolate, or 'chocolate' (cho-co-la-te) is a sweet, spicy, frothy and iridescent treat that must be experienced. I hope that this piece captures at least a small amount of that sensuality. Salud!
My son loved to dance to my guitar boogie when he was 3 years old; this is an extended version of that piece. You can watch it on YouTube - hope you enjoy it!
This is a contemplative piece that is a bridge to quiet places in the heart.
