These two pieces form a contrasting pair. 'Barwon Walk' sets up a nice walking pace in the bass riff, then busy pentatonic melodies race overhead. "The Sad, Slow Ocean" is beautiful in it's own minimal way. A widely spaced melody is played over the repetitive, wave-like ostinato. Visualize the beach and the ocean on a very, very still day.
